Mary Jane Cambria
Homeownership OC
Cambria Property Management and Real Estate
Costa Mesa
Mary Jane Cambria is a founding member and president of the board of directors of Homeownership OC, a nonprofit HUD-approved housing counseling agency in Orange County whose mission is to promote and preserve the dream of homeownership through outreach, education, counseling and financing. For over 20 years, Mary Jane has volunteered hundreds of hours at foreclosure prevention workshops, homebuyer education seminars, and real estate scam avoidance workshops. She has helped individuals meet with counselors, translate and call lenders to avoid foreclosure.
Mary Jane has used her vast knowledge of real estate rules and regulations to help numerous clients who were victims of real estate fraud or scams, reporting and resolving their housing issues. She reported issues to the brokers, the California Department of Real Estate and the District Attorney’s office. One client in particular was facing foreclosure due to health issues and job loss, following the death of his wife. She helped him avoid foreclosure and relocate to a new home. She donated the furniture left behind and gave him funds to get started in his new home.
Because of Cambria’s hard work and dedication, Homeownership OC has been able to help thousands of people avoid foreclosure. C.A.R. will donate $1,000 to Homeownership OC in her name.
